在这条路线上已经反复走了将近7年了，眼睁睁的看着一些平坦空旷的地面变成一座座高楼大厦，比如富丽城，建外soho的银泰中心，CCTV/TVCC。

这条路由于位于北京最繁华的CBD，因此也是北京最堵的路段，曾经有过从亮马桥到双井需要一个多小时的壮举，尤其在闷热的夏天，做车简直是一种煎熬。

后来奥运会的时候，地铁10号线就在我每天走过的路下通车了，炎热的夏天可以选择凉爽的地铁了，尽管地铁同样很拥挤，但速度却比公交快很多。

I've been going back and forth on this route for almost seven years already, watching helplessly with wide-open eyes as some flat, wide-open lands turn one after another into tall buildings and high-rises, such as Fuli City, Yintai Center at Jianwai Soho and the CCTV/TVCC buildings.

This route crosses Beijing's flourishing central business district, so it's also one of Beijing's most traffic clogged pathways. Once, it was more than one hour's feat just to go from Liangmaqiao to Shuangjing, and it was a hot, muggy summer day at that. Sitting in the bus was pure torture.

Later during the time of the Olympics, the number 10 line of the subway opened up right along the route I pass everyday, so on scorching summer days there's at least a choice to opt for the coolness underground. Even if it's crowded just the same, at least it's a lot faster than the bus.
